Shelfie

Snap a photo of your bookshelf and get back an interactive, AI-mapped version of it — every book identified and tappable, plus a reading personality for whoever owns the shelf. I built it almost entirely with AI: Lovable for the interface, Claude for the code. The hard part was the image recognition — teaching a vision model to read a title off a glare-covered, rotated spine and pin it to the exact right pixel. Read the story →

FSReader

On the 20th anniversary of Google Reader's launch, I'm launching FS Reader. It's the simple RSS reader I've always wanted.

My whole life I've used RSS readers, starting with Google Reader. I still remember the day Google Reader shut down being a sad day. Since it shut down, I've tried many RSS readers but none of them matched what I was looking for. I wanted something simple, focused on reading, and nothing else. That's why I decided to build FS Reader.

I hope people enjoy it.
